Karl Koebel

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Karl Koebel is a Managing Principal of Marketplace Real Estate Group, where he’s part of a team known as the “go-to guys of Southeast Austin.”

His time in the real estate industry began after proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force for nearly a decade. After pivoting into commercial real estate he quickly became a long-time and avid proponent for sustainable growth and development in Austin’s previously untapped Southeast submarket. Today, Marketplace owns a significant portfolio of properties and is developing numerous projects in Southeast Austin.

Karl seeks to first understand what a community wants and needs and then focuses on delivering well-executed projects that meets these wants and needs. Karl’s motto is: “doing well by doing good,” and applies this in both his personal and business life.
